While the Benelli M2 Tactical semi-automatic shotgun features factory-tapped rail mounting holes in the top of the receiver, the Benelli M4 and M1014 are shipped with a top Picatinny sight rail. These provided Mesa Tactical with an opportunity to develop SureShell shotshell carrier mounting solutions for the Benellis that are streamlined and very robust.Mesa Tactical recently released a new side mount Sureshell shotshell carrier for the Benelli M1 and M2 semi-auto tactical shotguns, which do not include the integral Picatinny rail.
